The Process
Client initially was drawn to brands with large Script and Sans Serif fonts with gold and black colors. However, this look is everywhere so we nudged it to a more Victorian aesthetic with beige’s, browns, and soft black. When put together, these colors communicate a seriousness from the black-brown with hints of warmth and closeness from the beige and tan.
The typeface offered a strong yet graceful presence. The curves and motion of the primary font “POPS” when paired with the brand colors. When working with a decorative font, it’s smart to have a reliable font to pair with it. Ol’ reliable Helvetica Nue fills that gap without distracting or taking away from Audrey.
